.A warm front will lift north across the Mid-South through Friday.
This front will interact with abundant moisture and several upper-
level disturbances today through Saturday evening. As a result,
the Mid-South will experience multiple rounds of heavy rainfall
over the next several days. Another 2 to 4 inches of rain is

* Moderate to heavy rainfall will push across the region today,
bringing up to 1 inch of rain, in addition to what has already
fallen. A heavier band of rain is then expected to stall over
the area late tonight and linger through the late morning hours
on Friday. After a break in the heavier rain, a line of storms
will move through the region Saturday afternoon and evening.
Total rainfall amounts between now and Saturday night will be up
to 3.5 inches.
* Residents should make preparations now if they live in a flood
