* At 2 AM Thursday the stage was 20.4 feet.

* Flood Stage is 18.0 feet.

* Minor Flooding is occurring and Minor Flooding is forecast by the Tennessee Valley Authority.

* Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 2 AM Thursday was 21.1 feet.

* Impact...At 20.0 feet...Alabama State Highway 20 is flooded at the underpass below U.S. Highways 43 and 72. The underpass will likely be closed.

Tennessee River at Whitesburg affecting Madison...Marshall and Morgan Counties ...Flood Warning continues until Friday Evening...The Flood Warning continues for The Tennessee River at Whitesburg.

* Until Saturday morning.

* At 1 AM Thursday the stage was 17.5 feet.

* Flood Stage is 17.0 feet.

* Minor Flooding is occurring and Minor Flooding is forecast by the Tennessee Valley Authority.

* Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 1 AM Thursday was 17.7 feet.

* Forecast from the Tennessee Valley Authority...The river will continue to fall to below Flood Stage by early tomorrow evening.

* Impact...At 17.0 feet...Lowland flooding begins. Some access roads in the area become flooded. Water backed into Long Pond Slough begins to approach roads on the Morgan County side of the river.
