Hot, hazy with a few pop-up afternoon storms Friday with best chances for areas south of the Tennessee River. Smoke from the Western wildfires continues to drift into North Alabama from out of Tennessee.
Thursday will be much drier than the last 5-days but a few pop-up showers and storms will be possible for areas further south and west. We are also dealing with smoke from some of the Western and Canadian wildfires.
Scattered showers and storms have the potential to produce heavy rain Wednesday which continues the flood threat to north Alabama. Rain chances and coverage will gradually drop through the end of the workweek and into this weekend.
Flash Flooding and flooding of creeks, streams remains possible Tuesday. Additional heavy rain from showers and thunderstorms will fall on an already saturated North Alabama. Rain chances gradually drop off the rest of the week but pop-ups will be possibl
