Joe Wheeler State Park is a 2,550-acre resort park located on the shores of Wheeler Lake in Rogersville, AL.

Monte Sano State Park has over 2,100 acres of land atop a mountain as well has 20 miles of hiking trails and 14 miles of biking trails. The Park is located in north Huntsville, AL. 

Cathedral Caverns State Park is most notably known for its massive cathedral entrance which measures 25 feet tall and 126 feet wide. Marked hiking trails surround the park and daily cave tours are available. The park is located in Woodville, AL. 

Lake Guntersville State Park boasts 6,000 acres of natural woodlands that include Alabama’s largest lake. Lake Guntersville is located in Guntersville, AL. 

Desoto State Park is best known for its beautiful waterfalls. The 3,500-acre park has something for nature hobbyists, outdoor enthusiasts and sporting fans. Desoto is located in Fort Payne, AL.
