Morgan County EMA Director Brady Davis confirmed that six fire departments are working a fire of about 1 to 2 acres in the Falkville area near Dabbs Road and Holmes Drake Road.
They've been working it since about noon Wednesday. The forestry service is also on scene.
Davis was not able to say if the fire involves any structures or if it is a grass fire.
