A Florence woman died of injuries suffered after being hit by a car on Veterans Drive Tuesday night.
Florence police say 56-year-old Wendy Price died after being taken to North Alabama Medical Center.
Police said Price was a pedestrian when she was hit at the intersection of Veterans Drive and South Oneal Street.
The man driving the car was on the phone with 9-1-1 as officers got on the scene. He was not hurt.
