week monday. happening now -- landfill workers in huntsville continue to monitor the spot where an early morning garbage fire broke out - forcing crews to battle the flames for hours. the fire started inside the gates of the huntsville landfill on leeman ferry road. thats where waay31's steven dilsizian spent hours trying to find out why the pile of waste burst into flames. im here at the huntsville landfill -- this is where a fire broke out earilier this morning. now im just at the entrance of the landfill but when i got to the scene, you could see smoke and lights from the fire all the way up that mountain. take vo: landfill workers say the fire broke out at 2:40 on thursday morning. when i got close to the scene, the heavy smoke made it hard to see and the entire area smelled of burning material. huntsville fire and rescue crews were on scene and were able to put out the blazing fire. one landfill worker told me there were no injuries and the
