Huntsville’s Crestwood Medical Center strictly limits visitation

Officials in Madison County discussed their response to the coronavirus pandemic in a news conference on Monday.

UPDATE: Dr. Pam Hudson with Crestwood said the hospital is strictly limiting its visitation.

Hudson said the mask policy remains in effect, along with social distancing in waiting rooms. She said patients can feel confident seeking emergency and routine care.

Huntsville Mayor Tommy Battle urged people to wear masks to protect others. He said it is a personal responsibility, and the public has done a good job so far.


Officials in Madison County are discussing their response to the coronavirus pandemic in a news conference on Monday at Huntsville City Hall.

At noon, we expect to hear from Madison County Emergency Management Agency Director Jeff Birdwell, Crestwood Medical Center CEO Dr. Pam Hudson and Huntsville Mayor Tommy Battle.
