Join WAAY 31 Meteorologist Kate McKenna as she goes over the edge for a good cause.
Kate, a self-professed adrenaline junkie who loves a challenge, is raising money to rappel down the side of the Regions Center building in downtown Huntsville. She's committed to raising $1,000.
The event is being made possible by Over the Edge, an outdoor adventure company that puts on adventure events to raise money for nonprofits. The Huntsville event benefits Kids to Love, a nonprofit that helps foster children find adoptive families and provides them with educational programs.

The event takes place Sept. 21-22 in downtown Huntsville.
