4th of July 2018: Safety reminders and where to find shows

It is illegal to use, sell, or possess fireworks within Huntsville city limits.

Huntsville Fire and Rescue along with the City of Decatur is encouraging people to celebrate the upcoming Fourth of July holiday in a safe, responsible way.

However, officials do want to remind everyone it is illegal to use, sell, or possess fireworks within the city limits.

Here is a list of public fireworks shows being conducted by professionals in the coming days:

Hampton Cove Golf Course, Huntsville June 30th, 9:00 p.m.

Ditto Landing, Huntsville July 1st, 10:00 p.m.

U.S. Space and Rocket Center, Huntsville July 4th, 9:00 p.m.

Providence, Huntsville July 4th, 9:00 p.m.

Dublin Park, Madison, July 4th, 9:00 p.m.

52nd Annual Spirit of America Firewors Show, Point Mallard Park Decatur, July 4th, 8:45 p.m.

Athens Fireworks Show, Athens High School, July 4th, 8:30 p.m.
