Following a violent protest marked by the fatal shooting of a woman in the Capitol building, Twitter removed three of President Donald Trump's tweets.

The removal is the strongest move the social media company has taken in response to the President so far.

Twitter removed two written tweets along with a video message in which President Trump falsely claimed that the presidential election was "stolen" and that it was "a fraudulent election."

Both Facebook and YouTube have also removed the video.
