Fire crews from at least five different agencies responded Wednesday afternoon to a fire on Mount Lebanon Road in Toney.

A homeowner was burning trash when the fire got out of control. The blaze spread to a pile of tires and then to two semi-truck trailers behind the home.

By the time crews arrived on the scene just after 5 p.m. the trailers were fully engulfed.

The fire spread briefly to a nearby field, and trees behind the house were also burned.

Crews from Huntsville Fire Rescue, Meridianville Fire Department. Toney Fire Rescue, Hazel Green Fire Rescue and the Madison County Sheriff's Office were all on the scene to assist.

No one was injured.
