Severe Thunderstorm Warning canceled for Madison, Limestone County

The National Weather Service has canceled a severe thunderstorm warning for Madison and Limestone Counties.

The National Weather Service in Huntsville have canceled a severe thunderstorm warning for Madison and Limestone Counties after issuing it just before 4 p.m.

Meteorologists said this storm could produce 60 mph wind gusts and quarter-inch hail, but conditions allowed them to cancel the warning.

Areas under the warning included northern Huntsville, Meridianville, Moores Mill, Hazel Green, Alabama A&M University, Harvest and Toney.

One viewer in Harvest reported "hail the size of grapes" falling at her home.

WAAY 31 is continuing to track showers and storms in the Tennessee Valley.
