Day two of SEC Media Days in Atlanta saw some new faces and some familiar ones in new roles. The morning started off with the Georgia Bulldogs where we heard from Head Coach Kirby Smart, who had high praises for former James Clemens standout Monty Rice.
"He has grown as a player, he is a tremendous student, he is always smiling, he has that always smiling attitude; those are my favorite players. It's easy to get guys up for the game. It's easy for guys to want to put the uniform on and go out there and want to be that superman mentality but the day-to-day work ethic that he has, it's a great asset for our program."
We wrapped things up with the Florida Gators now under the leadership of former Mississippi State Head Coach, Dan Mullen. At his frist media days leading the gators, Mullen was all smiles telling the press "It's a dream come true to be the head coach of the University of Florida."
