The Auburn Tigers took to the podium at day four and what was the final day of SEC Media week. Coming off a season where they won the SEC West Title but finished off with two crushing loses. They open this season back where they ended last years, at Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta in the Chick-fil-a Kick Off Game against Washington.
Auburn's offense the biggest focus today as they bring back a stacked defense and one of the strongest lines in the country. They have some depth at receiver but they will have several young guys competing for the top running back spots to replace Kerryon Johnson and Kamryn Pettway.
Also returning to the plains for his second year is quarterback Jarrett Stidham, the center piece of Auburn's offense. After a standout first year Coach Malzahn think he has proven himself as a leader heading into this season.
"I feel he's really earned the respect of all his teammates with what he did last year and what he's done in the offseason. So I think our team is in good hands with him as our leader."
