Police catch suspects in viral racist and threatening video

According to authorities, the two individuals are in custody in Arab.

A viral video of two individuals making racist and threatening comments, had many people in the Tennessee Valley concerned.  

According to authorities, the two individuals are in custody in Arab. 

Chris Tidmore, 19, has been identified as the man who made the video. 

Authorities say, Tidmore went to Arab Police Department claiming he was receiving death threats, because of the video. 

According to officials, Tidmore would be the only one to face criminal charges, but that could change. 

Charges have not been filed at this time. 

The identity of the second man has not been released. 

Huntsville Police tell WAAY 31, they have increased patrol in the neighborhood they believe the video was made. 

The two men in custody comes two and a half hours after Huntsville Police sent out a tweet asking for the public's help. 

The investigation into this case is still on going.
