Huntsville City Schools says someone who attended the two Huntsville High School graduations tested positive for coronavirus.
That person attended the ceremonies on Friday, June 26 at 5 p.m and 7.pm. The school district won't identify whether the person was a student, staff member or guest.
The district is asking anyone with a confirmed COVID-19 that attended graduation to email email@example.com or call (256) 428-6835 and leave a message.
"While there are certain items we cannot disclose in order to protect the privacy of the impacted individual, HCS is encouraging those in attendance at both HHS ceremonies to monitor for any symptoms through July 10, 2020," spokesperson Craig Williams said.
Those symptoms include:
• Body aches
• Shortness of breath
• Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea
• Sore throat
