A fire in Toney early Thursday morning is now under investigation.
The house destroyed in the fire is located at 720 Grimwood Road.
Fire crews on the scene told WAAY-31 the house was abandoned and there were not utilities running to the home.
A neighbor confirmed the house is abandoned.
A stretch of Grimwood Road closed while crews battled the fire, but has since reopened.
