Decatur police ID man killed in wreck between motorcycle, vehicle

One person is dead after a motorcycle accident on Monday at Highway 31 at Highway 20.

One person was killed in a wreck between a motorcycle and vehicle Monday afternoon.

UPDATE: Decatur police identified the driver killed in the wreck around 3 p.m. as Kelvin Pride, 52, of Athens.

Pride was on a motorcycle. He and the driver of the vehicle collided at the intersection of Highway 31 and Highway 20.

Pride died at the scene. The driver of the vehicle was not injured.

Police say the investigation is ongoing.

One person is dead after an accident involving a motorcycle on Monday.

Limestone County Coroner Mike West said his office is at the scene at Highway 31 at Highway 20 in the southern part of the county.

Decatur police are also at the scene and say drivers should expect delays in the area.
