On the verge of a heat wave

Not much has changed with our forecast for the next several days. We're still expecting warmer than average temperatures, ramping up to the low to mid 90s by the end of the weekend and start of next week.

It's mostly clear and mild tonight with lows only as cool as the low to mid 60s. More sunshine is on the way for Friday and highs climb to the upper 80s during the afternoon.

We keep it dry and hot through next week, adding an isolated storm chance to the mix starting Tuesday. Although temperatures dip a bit by midweek, we'll still be unseasonably hot with continued highs in the lower 90s Wednesday.
