'Steve always had a smile and a story for those that met him'
The Morgan County Sheriff’s Office shared Friday that Steve Mardis “our friend, brother and Courts/Transports Deputy” died Thursday of cancer.
“Steve always had a smile and a story for those that met him,” the office posted on Facebook. “He had a passion for his family, his friends, investing in youth and Alabama football.”
