More coronavirus cases confirmed among inmates, staff at Limestone Correctional Facility

The Alabama Department of Corrections on Friday confirmed more cases at its facility in Harvest.

The Alabama Department of Corrections (ADOC) on Friday confirmed more coronavirus cases at its prisons, including Limestone Correctional Facility in Harvest.

It said two staff members and one inmate there tested positive for the virus, as of Dec. 9.

On Friday, ADOC said 251 coronavirus cases among staff and contracted staff in the state remain active. It said 190 cases remain active among the inmate population.
