A Marshall County man was found guilty on Friday of murdering his wife.
According to court documents, Dale Hopson was charged with murdering his wife in 2016.
His wife, Joyce Green Bates, was shot in the head. Police said Bates was found dead at her home on Midfield Road in Joppa.
Hopson’s sentencing date is set for May 3.
