It was a marathon of a game in Montgomery but G.W. Long catcher Slade Simmons sent everybody home in the bottom of the eleventh inning with a bases-loaded single to drive in Braeden Paramore for the 7-6 win in game one of the 2A State Baseball Championship Series.
Up 6-4 in the bottom of the seventh inning, Mars Hill Bible looked to have the game in hand but the Panthers gave up two runs when Long's Kamryn Faria delivered a bases-loaded single to knot the game up at six and force extra innings.

Now Mars Hill Bible has to win tomorrow at 10 a.m. to foce a decisive game three which would follow 30 minutes after game two should the Panthers pull off the win.
