An Oklahoma man is charged with four counts of murder related to a mysterious case that dates back to 1999.

Danny and Kathy Freeman were found dead inside their burned home in Craig County, Oklahoma, on December 30, 1999.

Their teenage daughter, Ashley, and her friend Lauria Bible were missing from the home and still have not been found.

Monday, the district attorney in Craig County announced the arrest of Ronnie Dean Busick in the case, KOCO-TV reported.

Busick is also charged with arson in addition to the murder charges. He is currently in jail in Harvey County, Kansas, waiting for extradition.

He supposedly had two accomplices in the case, both of whom have since died.

KTUL-TV reported on the grisly details from District Attorney Matt Ballard.

"The girls had been kept alive for an unknown number of days following the fire. Polaroid photographs of the girls in their final days were seen by multiple people," said Ballard.

He also said the girls were tied up, tortured and abused before being killed.

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation continues to search for their remains.
