Madison County deputies investigating early morning shooting in Toney

A person was shot in the leg on Mt. Lebanon Road in Toney around 6:30 a.m Thursday morning.

According to a spokesperson with the Madison County Sheriff's Office, a person was shot in the leg on Mt. Lebanon Road in Toney around 6:30 a.m Thursday morning. 

Investigators are on the scene interviewing witnesses and searching for a suspect at this time.
