Madison City Schools to start new year with virtual learning only

Students in the Madison City Schools system will do virtual learning only for at least nine weeks.

The Madison City School System will start the new year with virtual learning only. This will start on Aug. 12 and be for a period of at least nine weeks. 

The system originally planned to offer both traditional in-person and remote learning options. After the first nine weeks, students may have the option to return to traditional learning.
