Limestone County Commission Chairman Collin Daly announced late Thursday that the Limestone County Courthouse will be closed Friday due to COVID-19 protocols.
This closure will include Limestone County’s Judicial System, Circuit Clerk’s Office, and District Attorney’s Office.
Reopening of the courthouse is tentatively scheduled for Monday.
Earlier Thursday, the Limestone County License Commission Office announced it would close until further notice due to coronavirus protocols.
In both cases, the county has not said if these protocols went into effect due to positive coronavirus tests, people in quarantine, or both.
