Update: Alabama State Troopers say the crash involved one vehicle and killed an Elkmont woman.
It happened at approximately 6:45 p.m. Tuesday.
Troopers say Kimberly Michele Carter, 52, was fatally injured when the Chevy Silverado she was driving left the road, hit a ditch and overturned, ejecting her. They say she was not using her seat belt and died at the scene.
A passenger in the Silverado was injured and taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Troopers say alcohol is suspected to be a contributing factor to the crash.

The Limestone County coroner says there was a fatality in a wreck on Tuesday.
