Victim identified in Madison County deadly shooting

Madison County Sheriff's Deputies are investigating after someone killed a man outside a home

Madison County Sheriff’s Deputies have identified the man killed in Thursday's shooting.

He is Cedrick Lipscomb, 36 of Madison County. Sheriff's deputies told WAAY 31 Lipscomb was shot multiple times outside the house he lived in with his family. It happened at 9:35 at the intersection of Turtlehill Drive and Turtle Creek Drive.

Sheriff's deputies have not made any arrests but said they are talking to a witness. 

Investigators released a suspect description Thursday afternoon. They said they're looking for Jumar Sims, 34. Investigators released a description of him being a black man who is 5'10" and 200lbs. They believe he may be driving a 2013 grey Nissian Altima with License Plate Number 61CF407.
