A flash flood warning was in effect for Limestone and Morgan Counties Saturday night

The Limestone County Emergency Management Agency is warning people of impassable roads in Ardmore. EMA officials say water is ponding on roads in Ardmore and its surrounding areas.  People are asked to use extreme caution if you are driving.

District 1 Commissioner Daryl Sammet closed Barnes Rd. at Old Scrouge Rd. because of a washed out culvert. It will be closed until repairs can be made.

Several cars are also stuck in flooded roads in Ardmore and Elkmont.

Decatur Police also warn about moderate flooding throughout the City of Decatur.

A flash flood watch is in effect for all North Alabama until Sunday at 7 p.m.
