Friday afternoon we learned the name of a man who was stabbed to death in Florence. He is 45 year old Jason Allen, and people say he had just moved to the Shoals.

Florence police arrested Bradley Hill and charged him with Allen's murder.

Florence police told WAAY 31 they found Jason Allen bleeding after being stabbed. This is Jason Allen's home, police said they found him in the driveway scene with spray paint.

Allen was taken to Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital Thursday where he died from his injuries. Police say he was stabbed in the abdomen.

Officials said becuase of witness accounts they were able to arrest Bradley Hill just one after the first officer arrived to the scene. Police said Hill and Allen knew each other and before the stabbing there was some type of argument between the two.

"We know there was a conversation prior to the incident happening. We also know that evidence at the scene leads us to believe that the altercation bled over into an adjacent property," Florence Police Captain Brad Holmes told us.

Police said they don't know the exact relationship between Hill and Allen.

Hill is being held in the Lauderdale County detention center without bond at this time.
