UPDATE: Police charged a man with murder in connection to an early morning shooting outside a club in Huntsville.
Police say 22-year-old Justen Wherry shot and killed 18-year-old Josiah Sanderson outside of Allure Martini Bar and Grill.
Sanderson was taken to Huntsville Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Police responded to the scene at around 2 in the morning, where they found Wherry and a firearm.
The relationship between Wheeler and Sanderson is not known at this time.
Wherry is currently in the Madison County Jail without a bond.
Allure is right next to AMF Pin Palace Lanes. An employee at the bowling alley told WAAY 31 they were closed during the shooting. Customers there also seemed surprised when they heard about the shooting right next door. One person even said they thought the club was closed.
Some of Allure's regular customers stopped by Saturday to find out more about the shooting. One person who was inside Allure Saturday night told WAAY 31 he was surprised because the club is usually a safe place.
WAAY 31 tried to talk to Allure's managers about the shooting and their security, but no one was inside.
Some of those who stopped by today actually knew Sanderson. They say he will be missed.
Police are still investigating the shooting. If you have any information, call police.
Huntsville police are investigating an early Saturday morning shooting death.
The department responded to a call on Country Club Avenue overnight.
Lt. Michael Johnson, Huntsville Police Department spokesman, said the department is investigating the death but currently has no additional details to provide.
