Update: Officials say four suspects were arrested this week in an 18-month multi-agency investigation into the "Rice Family Drug Trafficking Operation."
Search warrants were served at six different addresses, resulting in the arrests of Ashley Rice, Alston Rice, Nicole Douglas and Jimon Douglas.
Ashley Rice is charged with three counts of drug trafficking, and his bond is set at $250,000. Alston Rice is charged with conspiracy to traffic cocaine, certain persons forbidden to possess a firearm and receiving stolen property third-degree.
Nicole Douglas is charged with possession of marijuana first-degree. Jimon Douglas is charged with possession with intent (cocaine).
Right now, they all face state charges, but federal charges could be discussed at a later date.
During the operation, 5.4 pounds of cocaine and 1.5 ounces of marijuana were seized. The cocaine has a value of $195,000 and the marijuana has a value of $350.
Eleven guns, $500,549 and a 2016 Toyota Camry were also seized.
The Huntsville, Madison and Decatur police departments assisted, along with the Madison-Morgan STAC Team and FBI Safe Streets.
We're are working to obtain the mugshots of all four suspects.
Huntsville police are discussing a recent narcotics investigation that resulted in several arrests and large seizures.
