Huntsville police say both lanes are closed on northbound Research Park Boulevard, north of University Drive, due to a vehicle on fire.
An officer says a truck with used cars on it caught on fire. Police say the lanes will likely be closed for a few hours, and they’re waiting for a wrecker to come. They are going to try to reopen one lane, but they aren’t sure when they’ll be able to do that.
Fire trucks have left the scene, but fire investigators are still there.
No one is injured.
