Huntsville Police arrested a teen for murder.
According to authorities, 19-year-old Jaylun Demarcus White, has been charged with Murder for the shooting death of 20-year-old Carvell Goodlow.
The shooting happened on Sunday at Westlake Apartments located on Sparkman Drive.
Goodlow was involved in a fight at a Texaco gas station near the complex. Authorities said it stemmed from an argument on social media.
He was running home to Oakwood University, where he was a student, and cut through the apartment complex.
White, the suspect, thought Goodlow was someone else when he shot and killed him, according to police investigators.
The two did not know each other.
White is being held in the Madison County Jail on a $60,000 bond.
