Guntersville City Schools are moving to fully virtual learning next week.

In a post on its Facebook page, the system says this is for "the best interest of the overall health of our faculty, staff, and students..."

This begins Monday, Dec. 14.

Christmas break begins the next week, and students are expected to return to traditional classroom teaching when they return from break on Jan. 4.
