Gloomy and mild

As we approach the end of the work week, the pattern stays stuck in a bit of a gloomy rut.

Thursday begins with some patchy fog and mild temperatures. Highs today will run below average again thanks to a partly sunny sky. Scattered showers and storms return as well, mainly for areas east of I-65. Overall, the chance of rain is 40%.

Rain chances drop a bit for Friday, but a few of us will see a shower or storm. Tomorrow's chance of rain is 30%. We'll see a tad more sunshine tomorrow, too.

Aside from a few showers and storms this weekend, there are no big shakes in the weather department. Temperatures climb to the lower 90s again starting Sunday and storms don't become widespread until the middle of next week.
