Florence High School gets new head football coach

Florence is getting a new head football coach!

After 8 years at James Clemens, Wade Waldrop is moving on, taking control of the Florence High School football program.

Florence City Schools announced Waldrop as the new head coach Thursday.

He was 7A Coach of the Year in 2019. He coached the Jets since the school opened in 2012.
