Florence City Schools doing virtual learning day so employees can get coronavirus vaccine

Students will be assigned lessons to complete at home.

Florence City Schools is doing a virtual learning day on Friday so its employees can get the coronavirus vaccine.

They will be getting their first doses.

All students will participate in the virtual learning, and campuses will not be open to them. Teachers will assign lessons for students to complete that day.

The district says more information will be released on students’ Schoology or Canvas accounts.
