Surveillance images released of suspect in Jack's restaurant robbery

Jack's employee shot in the leg during robbery according to Madison County Sheriff's Deputies.

A Jack's employee in Merdianville has been shot in the leg during a robbery. 

Sheriff's deputies say it happened at the fast food restaurant on Highway 231 in Madison County in Merdianville around 4:15 Friday morning.

Police beileve the suspect fled on foot heading westward. The suspect is described as a light-complexion, man of color, about 5'11" and thin to medium build. Police say the suspect was wearing a grey sweatshirt and a hood with his face covered. 

The suspect and victim are both in their late 20's or early 30's. 

Jack's was closed at the time. It opened at 5am. 

Madison County Sheriff's Deputies ask anyone with information give them a call.
