An economics incentives bill won approval in the Alabama House over the objections of a Muscle Shoals lawmaker.

The proposal to renew economic incentives used to attract businesses in Alabama won by a vote of 94-1.

Republican Andrew Sorrell was the lone no vote.

Sorrell says he felt the bill unintentionally picks winners and losers among small businesses.

State senators will now debate the bill.
