Kids at Space Camp had the chance to meet with performers from "Disney On Ice" Thursday.

The ice skaters visited the U.S. Space & Rocket Center, and led a fitness class for the students.

"To me, exercise is really important for kids to learn," said Hope Gallegos, ensemble skater. "Sometimes we're in a day and age where it's really easy to not exercise throughout your day, so I'd love for kids to get to know how to stretch, how to warm up, how to do things that are fun and will get their blood pumping for healthy reasons."

"Disney On Ice presents Reach For The Stars" opens Thursday night at 7:00 p.m. in the Propst Arena at the Von Braun Center. Performances will run through the weekend. Tickets are available at the VBC office, or through Ticketmaster.
