Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Doug Jones is in Huntsville Thursday to hold a rally at a college campus.

Jones is holding his 5:15 p.m. rally at the University of Alabama in Huntsville.

This rally comes as recent polling has shown Republican nominee Roy Moore once again leading just weeks after he was the subject of accusations of sexual misconduct involving teen girls while he was in his early 30s.

Jones is looking to become the first Democrat in more than two decades to hold a U.S. Senate seat in Alabama.

The seat, which was vacated by Jeff Sessions when he became U.S. Attorney General, is currently held by Republican Luther Strange. Strange lost to Moore in the GOP primary runoff.

The special election is set for December 12.
