Decatur Police need help identifying suspects in car break-ins

The police department said the suspects have broken into multiple cars and stolen items from the vehicles in southwest Decatur through July.

The Decatur Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying potentially several suspects.

According to police, they broke into multiple cars and stole items from the vehicles in the southwest section of Decatur. Officials said the suspects have been active in the area through the month of July.

If you have any information on their identities or whereabouts, you're asked to contact Det. Sean Mukaddam at (256) 341-4617 or smukaddam@decatur-al.gov. Police ask you leave a message if calling after hours. Callers who wish to remain anonymous can call the Decatur Tip Line at (256) 341-4636.

Decatur Police want to remind you to lock your doors and secure all items inside before leaving your vehicle unattended.
