Decatur City Schools temporarily move virtual due to coronavirus

Classes are out next week for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Elementary school students through fifth grade in the Decatur City School System will attend school remotely on Friday due to coronavirus.

Students in grades six through 12 made the transition on Thursday.

Classes are out next week for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Students will return to classrooms on Nov. 30, said Dwight Satterfield, deputy superintendent.
