Damage reports from Saturday's severe weather across north Alabama

Here is a complete list of all the damage and flooding reports we have received in the WAAY 31 newsroom so far.

  • Colbert County
    • Trees and power lines down from 2nd Street in Decatur to County Farm Road.
    • Tree knocked over a power line along Shop Pike in Sheffield.
    • Flooding on Patrick Ln in the Barton community.
    • Power pole down on Red Rock Rd in Barton.
  • DeKalb County
    • Power outage in Valley Head
    • Damage to a building at Buttram Crossroads near Sylvania at county roads 47 and 27.
    • Power lines and power poles down along county road 611 near Hammondville.
  • Jackson County
    • Trees and power lines down in the 8000 block of Highway 65 near Princeton due to high winds.
    • Trees down at Russell Street and highway 71 in Section, across county road 156 in Section, and highway 71 in Duton.
    • Power outages near Bob Jones Road and City Park
    • Power lines down on highway 79 near Goose Pond in Scottsboro.
    • Minor mobile home damage near the Ider Church of God along highway 75.
    • Power lines down on Davistown Road southwest of Section.
    • Trees down and a roof off of a home on county road 114 south of Scottsboro.
    • Tree down on county road 151 near county road 88.
    • Barn damaged on county road 66 in Section.
  • Lauderdale County
    • Power lines down along county roads 578 and 581.
    • Trees and live power lines down along county road 45 near Waterloo.
    • Trees down on county roads 91, 361, 371, 356, 174, and 33.
    • Power Line down caused brush fire at county roads 10 and 157 in the Cloverdale community near the state line.
    • Trees down and flooded roadway at county road 457 and Julian Street in Underwood.
    • Trees down at 3101 County Road 9 in Underwood.
    • East fork of Six Mile Creek has crossed over county road 73 in Killen.
    • Flooding over county roads 8 and 157.
    • Water over the road at county roads 442 and 103 in Killen. 
    • Water and debris over the road county roads 103 and 72.
    • Lightning struck a propane line causing a fire. Fire is out but propane is leaking.
    • Flooding occurring on the following roads: Rivermont Road and county road 107, county roads 554, 107, and 56, and highway 72 eastbound all flooded.
    • Tree down on Bradford Street.
    • More flooding: County roads 52 and 207, county roads 403 and 73 completely impassable.
    • Lightning strike at 320 Lakeview Farms Road.
    • The following roads have been closed by teh Florence Police Department due to flooding: Commerce Street between Veterans and Huntsville Roads, Highway 20 underpass and Mitchell Boulevard, Gresham Road and Chisholm Road, and Mars Hill Road at Reston Street.
    • Power lines down on county road 81 and coutny road 70 at six mile creek.
  • Lawrence County
    • Large limbs down at county roads 157 and 81 near Oakville. Madison County: Traffic light down at US 72 and County Line Road.
    • Flooding just east of Town Creek along highway 20. Flooding also reported on county road 265 in Town Creek.
    • Trees down on county roads 214 and 301 in East Lawrence.
  • Limestone County
    • Lightning strike at home on Woodhaven Drive.
  • Madison County
    • Tree on an ambulance at Balch Road and US 72.
    • Lines down near Jordan and University.
    • Significant flooding on Capshaw west of Wall Triana.
    • Power poles down in Madison along Hughes Road.
    • Large trees down along Bailey Cove Road in Huntsville.
    • Power lines down at Green Mountain Road and Shawdee Road
  • Marshall County
    • All power lines on 227 are down over the railroad tracks.
    • House fire on Spirng Creek Drive in Guntersville
    • Significant damage to Brindlee Mountain School
  • Morgan County
    • Several reports of trees down county wide from strong winds outside of thunderstorms.
    • Trees and power lines down at Miller Street SW and Cockrell Avenue SW in Decatur.
    • Power lines down southwest part of Decatur. Vehicles trapped with power lines down along Beltline Road and Danville Road, as well as Westmeade Road. Major power outage.
    • Trees down at Main Street and Bethel Road, also at Elrod Circle. Power lines down at Crestline Circle and Elizabeth Drive
    • Storage building damaged and house siding damage along Tabscott Road
    • Roof damage at Liberty Baptist Church
