A second teacher is behind bars regarding sexual abuse allegations in DeKalb County.

The sheriff's office has arrested Donavan Wayne Dalton, 28, of Rainsville and charged him with school employee having sexual contact with a student under the age of 19 years of age.

He was an employee of the Fort Payne City School System. The school system said his resignation was accepted Friday.

The sheriff's office said it received a complaint Thursday about inappropriate activity between an adult male and a juvenile and began an investigation.

That lead to Donavan Dalton's arrest Thursday night. His bond was set at $150,000.

Donavan Dalton is the twin brother of Dustin Dalton, who the sheriff's office arrested Monday on charges of enticing a child for immoral purposes and dissemination of obscene material. Dustin Dalton was a teacher at Sylvania High School in the DeKalb County School System. (Read more about his charges HERE)
