Some North Alabama schools are dismissing early due to inclement weather.

If more schools dismiss early, WAAY 31 will update this story.

* Madison County Schools will be dismissing early Tuesday. High schools and middle schools will dismiss at 1:45 p.m. Elementary schools will dismiss at 2:30 p.m. All after-school activities are canceled.

* Athens City Schools is staying all day and through its elementary latchkey program. All other activities cancelled. Probably on time Wednesday.

* Florence City Schools will remain in normal operations Tuesday. However, all after-school and evening functions and sporting events are cancelled. The Florence Board of Education will still hold its monthly meeting Tuesday at 5 p.m.

* Huntsville City Schools after-school and evening activities, including extended day, are cancelled for Tuesday. The Board of Education Work Session will be rescheduled for Wednesday at 1 p.m.

* St. John Paul II Catholic High School has cancelled all after-school activities for Tuesday.

* First Baptist Child Development Center in Madison will close at 4 p.m.

* Westminster Christian Academy all after-school activities

* Grace Lutheran School will dismiss at normal time, after-school and extended care activities are cancelled. Child Development Center closes at 3:30 p.m.

* Due to inclement weather, all after-school and evening activities at Randolph School are canceled for Tuesday. School will dismiss on a regular schedule and after-care will remain open.
