UPDATE: The Sheriff's office has two suspects in custody on unrelated charges, but they are not releasing any more information at this time. The body is currently with forensics. Law enforcement officials say they are confident the death is a homicide.

Saturday afternoon the Jackson County Sheriff's office released details surrounding a body found buried in the woods in Jackson County. Deputies found the body while searching homes and trailers near County Road 86 in the Woodville area as part of a missing persons case.
Deputies say they suspected foul play early on in the case. The body is of a white male and is believed to be that of a Huntsville resident who went missing around September 5, 2018.
Deputies have not released who the suspects are but say they do have suspects, and we can expect charges to be filed soon. Jackson County Sheriff's Office, Madison County Sheriff's Office and Scottsboro Police Department were all involved in the case.
